Scottsdale Attorney Barbara Luther Pays Tribute to Entrepreneurs

IP Today November 2013

Barbara Luther, founder of The Luther Law Firm in Scottsdale, AZ, is a true supporter of entrepreneurs and is excited to celebrate November as National Entrepreneurship Month and honor National Entrepreneurs’ Day, observed on November 22, 2013. Barbara assists her clients, many of whom are entrepreneurs, guard their revolutionary creations. During November, the nation celebrates the creation of businesses, the achievements of visionaries, and supports entrepreneurs in their pursuit to create new and original inventions and initiatives.

Many entrepreneurs are creative masterminds, but do not consider the legal aspects of protecting their ideas once they come to fruition. It is only just that the individual who put the blood, sweat, and tears into a new invention or concept receives the credit, through both recognition and financial reward. Unfortunately, unprotected ideas and creations are often misappropriated by others who claim they are the original designer or inventor.

The Luther Law firm is a full-service intellectual property firm, that helps innovators and creators secure their ideas and inventions through trademark, copyright, and patent search and protection. Ms. Luther works with entrepreneurs every day to protect their original ideas and concepts from infringement, to guarantee the right person receives recognition for their creation.

One of Barbara’s clients, Chris Escobedo, is a talented tattoo artist and owner of Elite Gallery and Art Center and Elite Custom Tattoo in Phoenix, AZ. Mr. Escobedo has applied his creative and artistic talents in a different discipline, and created a computer automated glass cleaning squeegee system under his company Elite Automatic Window Washing System Inc., that eliminates the need for cleaning glass manually and eradicates calcium buildup, hard water stains, and dust accumulation. The system is for use with showers, high rise windows, solar panes, ceramic, and other nonporous surfaces on and in both residential and commercial structures. Barbara filed the patent for this innovative system design by completing a comprehensive patent search, and clearly defining Chris’s invention, in order to achieve successful patent application approval. Barbara’s legal expertise provides her clients the opportunity to secure and protect their original ideas, without the concern that someone else will assert unfounded credit.

Ms. Luther, an entrepreneur herself, will be appearing at the Women Entrepreneurs’ Small Business Bootcamp on March 1, 2014 at Chaparral Suites Resort Scottsdale, providing strategies on how to protect ideas, and the consequences individuals face when they fail to protect their ideas.
